I Love Yarn Day Contest!

It’s that time of year again! Just 4 days left until the 5th birthday of I Love Yarn Day! The Craft Yarn Council is calling for all fiber friends to #stitchitforward by teaching at least one person how to knit, crochet, weave or spin. It only takes a few minutes to share your love of yarn with another person and chances are, they are going to love it too! Post your projects across facebook, twitter, pinterest and instagram!

To help you share your love of yarn, Plymouth Yarn is giving away one of it’s biggest prizes ever! One lucky winner will receive FIVE– that’s right- FIVE, cowl kits containing our best selling yarns!

To Enter: Comment on this blog post with 1. Your favorite yarn shop. 2. Your favorite Plymouth Yarn 3. Your favorite place to knit/crochet/weave or spin. You must include all 3 to be eligible for the grand prize. Winners will be notified on October 19th via email. One runner up will receive one Baby Alpaca Grande Cowl kit.

Ooooh!! My favorite yarn shops are WEBS and The Loopy Ewe. Never a disappointment! My favorite Plymouth yarn is Galway. Also, never a disappointment. My favorite place to knit when it’s cooler is on the couch with some good tv! (TV sometimes disappoints.)

My favorite yarn shop is HAPPY KNITS – in Portland (OR) in USA
My favorite Plymouth Yarn is probably the ANGORA GLITZ… although it’s tough to knit, Angora (and sparkling and glittering one) always made me fall in love !

I also love love love the baby alpaca grande hand dye <3 🙂

My favorite place to knit crochet, wave or spin : I feel it's always special to knit in a park, sitting down a tree
and… knitting with friends is the most enjoyable also.. no matter the place, the company (and the yarn) makes it really special ! 🙂

my favourite local yarn shop is 88 Stitches. I love the Baby Alpaca, especially the DK. My favourite place to knit is with my friends in our crafting circle. I’ve taught many friends how to knit, there, as well.

My favorite yarn shop is Mind’s Eye Yarn in Cambridge, MA. My fav Plymouth Yarn is Baby Alpaca Grande but i have a feeling that I might fall in love with Arequipa Worsted when we meet.
My favorite place to knit is the train. I always feel so productive traveling and crafting at the same time. (But I knit just about everywhere so …)

My favorite yarn store is Northwest Knits, it carries Plymouth, one of few here in the NW. My favorite Plymouth yarn will always be encore, it’s Versatel and affordable and I can’t tell you how many skeins I’ve bought over 10+ years of making blankets and baby sweaters. My most favorite place to knit, couch, with dog and hot tea!

My favorite yarn shop: Webs! I drive there twice a year and order online here and there for more projects. Out of all of the fabulous Plymouth yarns I have to pick one? Ok, that has to be the versatile Encore line of yarns. I have used the worsted weight many times! And my favorite place to knit and crochet is in my living room, surrounded by my family and my cat.

Happy feet and encore. There is an awesome yarn store in Allyn, WA and my favorite place to knit is next to water whether it’s a lake, pond or ocean. It’s the peacefulness it brings.

Hi! My favorite yarn shops are Patternworks in Center Harbor, NH and Spinning Yarns in Dover, NH. I have three little girls (5, 3 and 1) and I knit anything for them with Worsted Marino Superwash because it is soft, squishy and not boring. I love to knit in the car (really this is the only time I get to knit ) and while watching football.
